Salesforce Consulting & AppExchange Packages
Tools forged tohold under load.
Native Salesforce packages and senior architecture consulting — built deliberately, tested against real use, made to last.

The approach
Craft you can audit.
Made to a standard, not to a deadline.
Native to the platform
Built on Salesforce, not bolted onto it — respecting your data model, permissions, and governor limits.
Forged, then tested
Every release ships with the test coverage to prove it holds. A tool, not a prototype you have to babysit.
Built to last
Clean Apex, documented behavior, and upgrades that don't break what you rely on. Work you can hand to the next admin without a warning label.
Services
Architecture that holds up in production.
Ask The Forge takes on a limited number of consulting engagements — the kind of work where knowing the platform deeply is the difference between a system that ships and a system that survives.
Custom CPQ & Commissions
Configure-price-quote systems and commissions engines built inside Salesforce — corporate to lot-level configurability, tiered structures, stage-aware calculation logic. Deep experience in homebuilder sales operations at enterprise scale.
Managed Package Development
2GP architecture, AppExchange Security Review preparation, and the security posture reviewers actually check: FLS and CRUD enforcement, USER_MODE data access, bind-safe dynamic SOQL.
Integrations & Automation
Salesforce as the hub, not an island — e-signature and document generation, mortgage and lending platforms, and the API integrations that keep systems in step. Built with the error handling and bulk safety production demands.
About
The smith behind the forge.
Ask The Forge is the independent practice of Lloyd Rowe — a Salesforce architect with five years building CRM, CPQ, and commissions systems for top-10 US publicly traded homebuilders, most recently as CTO of a Salesforce consulting firm. Platform Developer I certified, with firsthand experience taking a managed package through AppExchange Security Review independently.
The name is the method: take the problem to the forge, work it until it holds.

QuickEdit
A universal inline-editing grid for Salesforce. Drop it onto any record page or app page, point it at any object, and edit records in place — zero code for the installing admin, everything configured point-and-click. Respects field-level security, CRUD, and sharing on every read and write.
